Thus, viscose is a semi-synthetic fiber made from the basic material cellulose, which consists of renewable resources. Moreover, no petroleum is used in the production of viscose and no pesticides are used. In addition, the water and energy requirements as well as the land use are lower than for other materials such as conventional cotton.
