Viscose products
The information refers to ours Pants as well as ours other clothing made of viscose.
Please note the following when washing your viscose products
- Wash before first wear
- Wash the items of clothing in a gentle program (e.g. delicate wash program) at a maximum of 30 degrees
- Make sure that your washing program does not have a spin speed that is too high. If possible and necessary, reduce the number of revolutions manually to 400-800 revolutions
- Do not bleach
- Do not dry clean
- Do not tumble dry
Note: Some older harem pants still have washing instructions for hand washing. We did this as a precaution at the beginning, but have now realized that gentle machine washing is not a problem. You can also machine wash these harem pants as described above.
- The products may lose some color during the first few washes. The pattern does not fade or change color. This is because we avoid repeated pre-washing during production in order to keep the local environmental impact as low as possible. But this is not a problem and goes away after the first few washes. If you are unsure, wash the pieces alone or use a dye catcher cloth.
- To avoid and prevent possible pilling, you can brush the garment with a lint brush before washing it for the first time. Since we do not use chemical "anti-pilling" processing after production, there may still be some lint on the fabric that you can remove in this way.
- Ironing: Only at a low temperature and preferably when damp.
- paigh fashion pieces made of viscose dry super quickly and are therefore particularly suitable for traveling, not only because of their practical pack size and weight.
- If you are unsure about washing, you can use a dye catcher cloth to be on the safe side to catch any dye that may come out during the first few washes
- If the fabric contracts a little and "shrinks" after washing, this is not always cause for concern. Viscose fibers contract slightly depending on the washing cycle and conditions. In most cases you can fix this yourself with a few tricks. Wash the item again and, after washing, gently pull the fabric apart on all sides and ends while it is still wet. Then hang the piece lengthwise on the waistband and let the fabric hang out and dry. If this does not work, please contact our support team support@paigh.com to look for another solution.
- We have noticed that some pants tend to be slightly smaller after being stored for a long time than other pants of the same size. This is because the viscose fibers contract and the fabric becomes wrinkled from storage. By gently ironing at a low temperature, the fabric expands and the trousers become up to 5cm longer. If your trousers seem smaller or shorter than usual, you are welcome to try the ironing trick without obligation after the first wash. It also helps to stretch and shape the fabric while it is still wet after washing. If that doesn't work or if you have a question, please contact us at any time via support@paigh.com.
Cotton products (organic)
The information refers to ours Basic Collection as well as ours Loungewear collection. The respective care instructions are always located on the product.

- Household trick: Add half a cup of white table vinegar (5% acid, or vinegar essence diluted 1:5 in water) to the fabric softener in the washing machine. This keeps the clothing soft and is particularly useful for clothing with elastane content, as this keeps the elastane fibers soft and elastic. But vinegar is also a good home remedy for sustainable laundry for any other laundry. But it's better to find out more details beforehand :)
- To protect the beautiful fabric from too much friction and stress when washing, you can wash the items inside out.
- Our trousers made from 100% organic cotton may initially produce lint - this is part of the natural quality of the material. We consciously avoid multiple pre-washing in order to conserve water and resources on site. The excess fibers that remain in the fabric after production come off automatically after the first few washes. This makes the fabric stable and long-lasting. We recommend treating the trousers in advance with a lint roller and washing them in a laundry net so that the lint can be caught.
- Tie the cords of the clothing items (if you have them) in a light knot so that they don't get caught or pulled out
