Energy Balls Recipes - The little energy boost in between

The small, round balls are the perfect snack for in between meals so that you can get started again full of energy! Those with a sweet tooth will get their money's worth - and all without sugar! Today I have three different energy ball recipes for you that you should definitely try.

The energy balls are prepared within minutes . They don't need to be baked and can basically be eaten immediately. The energy balls not only taste best when slightly chilled, they also stay in shape best.

The basis for this snack is always oatmeal and dates . There are also various nuts , fruits and spices . The combination possibilities are endless! You can basically just throw together everything you have at home and see what comes out. I have put together my three favorite combinations for you . A chocolate-peanut version, one with orange peel and cranberries and one with raisins and walnuts. The first two recipes are a bit simpler than the raisin nut energy balls because they use even fewer ingredients. But like I said – just do your thing with it.

You should make sure that the dates you use are pitted . It's best to soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes before processing; this makes them nice and soft and makes it easier to form the dough. Instead of oatmeal, you can also use chopped or ground almonds if you like. I used a food processor (high-performance blender) for my energy balls. If you don't have one on hand, you can also "mash" the dates with a fork and then mix all the ingredients by hand .

Before I babble too much again, I would say: let's just get started! :)
