Spring in a glass: Our favorite smoothie recipes for new energy
As the days get longer and the first rays of sunshine tickle our skin, many of us feel the need for a fresh start. Spring invites you to blossom – also from within. And what could be better than a smoothie full of fresh ingredients that not only refreshes the body but also the soul?
Why smoothies are so good right now
After winter our bodies often feel a bit sluggish. The hearty cuisine, less exercise and gray days take their toll. With spring comes the desire for lightness - and smoothies are a wonderful way to enjoy exactly this feeling in a light, healthy way. They provide us with vitamins, minerals and fresh energy without burdening us. At the same time, they give us small, mindful moments of enjoyment in our often hectic everyday lives.
Fresh ingredients, fresh energy
The great thing about smoothies: They are colorful, creative and full of possibilities. Whether sweet or green, creamy or refreshing - what is good for you is allowed - and what makes you shine. Especially in spring, there are many seasonal ingredients that are now in full season and give your body exactly what it needs: strawberries, rhubarb, spinach, cucumber, mint or fresh wild herbs are not only delicious, but also real energy sources.

3. Sunshine in a glass
-
1 orange (peeled)
-
1 small carrot
-
1 piece of mango or peach
-
1 tsp turmeric
-
200 ml coconut water
Tip: A pinch of black pepper helps the body absorb turmeric better - and gives the taste more depth.
Tips for more mindfulness when mixing and drinking
Smoothies are more than quick meals - they can become little rituals for your well-being. Take a moment to carefully select and cut the ingredients. Maybe you listen to music or open the window for some fresh spring air. And also when drinking: Take a deep breath, sit down consciously - and enjoy sip after sip. Feel how new energy spreads through your body.

Enjoy sustainably
If possible, use seasonal, organic ingredients or buy local. Smoothies are the perfect way to make delicious use of leftover ingredients - an overripe banana, a forgotten apple or the last head of lettuce in the fridge finds a delicious new purpose here. Glass straws or smoothie bowls make the whole thing even more sustainable – and beautiful.
